i recently started birth control, how can i take a pregnancy test? my pd wont come for 3 months with my pill.?

im on seasonique its where u have a period every three months. im having wierd feelings like gas n my stomach feels bigger.when do i take a pregnancy test? my period wont come til october

Go ahead and buy one and take it with your first morning pee...Its alot more effective. If it comes out negative then wait and but one in the next week to two weeks...or if you dont want to fool with that do what i done go to your Dr. and tell him or her that you want to have a bllod test done. they will draw your blood and it will tell you with in the first 7 to 10 days of being pregnant if you are or arent....

All those feelings could be the pills doing it to you. But to be on the safe side take a test around the time you should get your period. So say you started you're pill May 5th and that was you're last known period. Take the test around the 5th of the month. And if you're still worried get a blood test. And it could happen, you could be pregnant I was on the shot for almost a year and I started feeling funny and the doc told me I was fine, well my mom made me take a test because she just knew and I was pregnant. And I would never have known. Cuz witht he shot you don't get your period at all. So take the test when you should've gotten you're period and if you're still having problems get a blood test.

Take it 2 weeks after your last intercourse, or every 4 weeks if you have regular intercourse. This is because you have to wait at least 14 days from conception for the pregnancy hormone to be detected. Because it seems this is your first cycle with this pill, you may still have spotting around every 28 days, but only one or two days. this is because you have to wait for the hormones to slow the growth and decrease the thickness of your uterine lining. if you take it within 2 hours of the same time every day (say between 7-9am or whatever you can remember) will give you the most consistant amount of hormones, which will give you the best (about 98.9%) prevention of pregnancy. You can take a test now if you had intercourse at least 2 weeks ago.

You can take a pregnancy test any time.
Most women do not know this.... but when you are on any type of oral birth control, the period that you get between packs (whether thats is one month or 3) is a "fake" period. You only get it because the scientists that developed the pill thought it would be reassuring to women. Because when you are on the pill you do not ovulate (release an egg), the uterine lining does not build-up and release itself as it would normally.

If you are worried, or feel differently, the quickest way to put your mind at ease would be to take a test or go see your gyno. Hope this helps!

i became on Ortho Tri Cyclen (general not the low) and that i finished my pills in January whilst i became taking the eco-friendly pills and in February i did not have a era and found out i became pregnant. I ovulated the 1st month off the pill. This occurred to me two times! I quite have 4 babies 2 of them have been conceived via lacking 2 weeks of BC pills. One became conceived one month upon getting the dep. shot and the different i became off the pill after 6 years and have been given prego 3 months after combating the pill. it is amazingly plausible which you're pregnant. i might take a try.

Take it in the morning before you take your pill. I don't think your pill will mess up the test. If the test is positive, stop the pill. Are you thinking you might have been pregnant when you started the pill?

next time you go in to get your shot ask them to run a pregnnacy test first! if you truely believe you are preg. call and ask them to do one now!
