There is more than one kind of love, but I think you mean the one when you are in a relationship dealing with emotions, correct me if I'm wrong.
A love relationship needs a lot of tender loving care (T.L.C.).
Let's say that the relationship is a garden. At first there are no weeds in it, the ground is smooth and clean. At first everthing is going great, you love her, she loves you, each other trying to always please the other. As time goes by, the rain makes your garden grow and so does the weeds. You and your girlfriend have a small fight, nothing serious, you kiss and make up and everything is alright again. Soon the vegetables seeds you planted have grown into nice plants, with vegetables on them.
One problem is that the weeds are taller than the garden you planted. Now the relationship has gone on quite some time now, let's say three years now. A fight breaks out and you and her get seperated, not for a long period of time though. You soon get back together. Your garden now gets overtaken by the weeds and your garden dies, all you can see is nothing but tall ugly weeds. Now you have another fight, let's say in ten years, but this time it's worse than ever, you and her go your seperate ways, never to see each other again.
A love relationship must be cultavated, just like a garden. Whenever there is any sign of trouble it must me brought out in the open and settled. Just like the first weed that pokes its head out of the ground, it must be pulled out by the roots.
If you keep doing this as the relationship goes on, it will never get to the point ot total destruction.There is no such thing as a perfect relationship. Sure, you will get made at each other, but just because you get angry, does not mean you don't still love them. I hope I answered your question.

Love is a living, breathing creature than lives in each of us and in the combined being of two people in love.
It is the MOST complicated emotion. It requires CONSTANT nurturing, stroking, watering, feeding.
The littlest neglect will cause it to become ill. Further neglect will cause its poor life to be cut short.

i believe in todays date no one has time to waste so if the work gets successfully over by taking short cuts then yes,it's obvious to take short cuts.

Some gardens just grow 'cause the soils good and the plants are tough.
Most require maintenance.

Love is something you have to offer for others and yourself...and something others have to offer you. both are love...they both affect you and you have ctrl only over the one you give. You cant make ppl love you. so I guess...that gives it life. and you can protect your love...but not the love you get from others.
