I just cant seem to wake up, I have tried the following things but none of them have worked:

1. Set up upto 3 alarm clocks with some of them really loud that they wake up my neigbours but not me.

2. Have placed the alarm clock(s) away from me so that I have to wake up and walk upto it to switch it off, but I still shut it off and went back to bed

3. Have used a snooze clock, I snooze it for so many times that it eventually stops snoozing and switches off

4. Have tried drinking loads of water before going to bed so that I have to wake up to pee but over the period of time my capacity to retain urine in the bladder has increased and now I can control my pee for hours when sleeping.

Any more good suggestions??

sadly, very very sadly, there is only one way, and like u said, u get up out of bed turn the alarm off then go back to bed... well the only way; is to completly force urself to get up... but you need a good enough reason to get up to make it easy. so ur problem might not be waking up but finding a reason to wake up, well, for some ppl anyway. peace!

I have the same problem. I sleep very deep and I have tried setting 3 alarm clocks and it still doesn't work, tried the ones with snooze and I get my brother wake me up which works sometimes. I think they should invent a bed that has an alarm clock that makes the bed shake and you can't shut it off lol. Be interesting to see what answers people give as I have the same problem.

It sounds like you probably go to bed too late, and don't sleep enough, or have a regular sleep routine. So, try reading before you go to bed - no TV or Internet.

Avoid caffeine or other hot drinks, large meals, and alcohol, at least 3 to 4 hours before going to bed. Don't drink loads of water, otherwise peeing only keeps you up, making it harder to wake up in the morning.

Try using a radio alarm, waking up to music or a CD instead of an alarm clock. Most CD players can be programmed to switch on at a time you choose, to either a CD or radio. That way, you'll have a much more pleasant way of waking up. Also, you could try using the sleep setting to help you get to sleep.

Have someone else wake you up. I have the same exact problem that you do. My alarm can blast for 2 hours and then shut off and I never hear it. However, if you have someone else try and wake you up in your family, that might work for you. That's the only thing that works for me.
