everyone is calling me spoiled...just because i have nice clothes, and a nice house. just because u have nice things doesnt mean ur spoiled. spoiled is when u get everything u want and dont appreciate it...i get everything i want and do appreciate it.

I agree that just because you have many material items does not make you spoiled. It is the behavior that some people get when they are used to having their way...not all however.
As for asking if you are spoiled well know one but you can answer that. I don't know you well enough to know. If you whine and act obnoxious when you may not get your way then yes you are spoiled and need to grow up and meet the real world. If you are fine if you don't always get every little thing you want then you are not spoiled. Also if you think of yourself more then others that would make you a little spoiled but if you actually think of others then you are not.

You're spoiled. But why be so ashamed or pissed about it? I think the only reason why you don't like people saying you're spoiled is because people have come to use the term..or whatever "spoiled little brat" too much. I'm spoiled too. I don't care if people say I am, because I know I am. But, then again, I have a job and buy my own clothes and junk.

Well, if everyone is calling you spoiled, maybe you need to reexamine whether or not you really do appreciate getting everything you want. Have you ever gone through a period in your life where you DIDN'T get everything you want? If not, how can you possibly appreciate it?
Based totally on your question, I would say that yes you are spoiled. If you ever live below the poverty line, you will understand what I mean.

You're not spoiled.
As long as you don't expect everyone to serve you, and as long as you're grateful (like you say you are) and don't take anything for granted, then you're not spoiled.
However, your honesty is impressive. You admit you get everything you want, which is a bold move. What I hate is when people who are really rich go "I'm so poor" thinking it's a smart thing to say, showing they're not spoiled. Well, it just makes everyone resentful. "If you're so poor, what does that make me? A hobo on the side of the road?"

Maybe you act a certain way around your friends or other people that make you seem spoiled and you haven't noticed it yet.
But I don't see anything wrong if your parents give you want you want, they have worked hard for it and I'm sure they have worked hard so that they can give you what you want.
Who cares what other people think, if you are happy, and your family is happy, that's all that matters. If you really appreciate what you have and are grateful for being able to have what you want, then you have nothing to worry about and need to prove nothing to anyone.

As long as you do appreciate what you have, and realize that there are people out there who aren't as fortunate as you, I don't think you're spoiled! Most of the people who are saying you're spoiled are probably just jealous...good luck.

I think it all depends on how you treat other people.....
Do you rub their noses in it? Or do you share what you have?
If EVERYONE is calling you spoiled, I tend to believe that you may "FLAUNT" your good fortune.
Try sharing the things you enjoy with your friends instead of showing them off. That will probably help your situation.....

i get a lot of things that i want and i am so thankful for everything that i have anyway. ur not spoiled. when ppl call u that, maybe theyre just jealous and they dont get it and dont really know u.

spoiled has to do with the character/disposition of the person, according to dictionary.com so if you are not of a spoiled nature then i wouldn't say you are spoiled. you are very fortunate though and i am glad you don't take what you have for granted... it is very difficult these days to provide for a family.
