I don't know, but it is getting on my nerves. Maybe they are in the process of changing writers and had to waste some time!!!

Great question with some good answers.
I've been complaining for months about the "singing" and stupidity of the story lines of Rick and Phoebe. I can't stand it. I don't watch soaps to get my music fix. This is a half hour show that don't need 15 minutes of REALLY BAD singing, and some WORSE ACTING !!!!
The only music, singing and acting I needed from the Bold & Beautiful show was from Jack Wagner (Nick). He can do all three, and does them exceptionally well. More important, when he did sing, it fit into whatever story line was happening at the time. His singing was never out of place. Plus he's much better to look at than Rick (UGH) and Phoebe (another UGH)

I like to hear singing if it is part of the storyline. as a performer, i know when it is appropriate to sing, act or whatever...having Rick singing with a teenybopper and a wanna be american idol taking up most of the show is a joke. for one good storyline, 3 crappy ones are seen...I think Rick sings well and I like phoebe's voice...but, hell, rick was a ceo of a company, not a reject of american idol. even when amber was on bb and she sang, she sang when appropriate...and she can sing!

I don't know! I don't mind Rick's singing, and Constantine is good, but I'd rather listen to finger nails on a chalk board than hear Phoebe sing! Its horrible!

I stopped watching that show forever ago....since they couldn't manage to just fill up half an hour (with commercials actually equates to about 18 minutes) with nothing but Brooke!

Like someone else said - no storylines to build on, I don't think Phoebe nor Constantine can sing all that well (AI non-winner, lol!)... and I hate it that they brought Ashley from Y&R only to be with Ridge - I can't stand him! Ashley used to be one of respect on Y&R, but now,
she has downgraded herself to be with Ridge - in my opinion...

so the writers don't have to think of
about an interesting, believable, or entertaining storyline.... seems like echoes of Donny & Marie (Osmond) in the worst way....
