but has more of a bulging belly! Which one should I put into the breeder tank first? I haven't had either guppy for more than 3 weeks, so I am not sure when their last birth was. I am really confused on this, as I have looked at different websites and pictures. So either the one with the black spot, but slender, or the one with the gray spot and bulging?? Please help!

None of them, get your self a bunch of live plants, that way your fry can hide when they are born
A breeder stresses them just out (out of own experience)

That way your fry can grow much faster and will be healthier as well

The gestation period is 28 days, and they can have babies up to 6 months including the first birth without a male, since they can store the sperm

Here is a video that shows a guppy just about an hour before birth

Hope that helps
Good luck

I would say put the one with the gravid spot in the breeder tank first. i had a guppy that was pregant mutiple times and always had a dark spot near its belly when it was ready to give birth. If you look really closely at the spot, you might see little eyes from the fry (baby fish). I suggest you get a breeder tank so that when the guppy lays the fry, they will be separated so that the mother will not eat the fry. I did know to do this the first time so the mother and the other fish in my aquarium ate all the fry. You can get one of these breeder tanks cheap and at any pet store.
