U can try ionizer but the best ionizer is quiet expensive and it really works to neutralize the smell. open the car window when smoking and only close it after 10 minutes when u finished. Remember not to smoke while while the air conditioner is on. The other way are: after-tobacco car perfume, 'thirsty hippo' and the best solution is quit smoking or not to allow anybody to smoke inside your car. :)

All Febreeze will do is cover it up, it won't get rid of the smell permanantly. Try shampooing your car...headliner too. Spray Lysol into the vents before turning them on. If, after the seats dry, you still smell it, use the carpet powder made for pet odors.

Well , I suggest is first get some carpet cleaner leave it there for 2 or 3 days. clean your furniture if they are fabric get upholstery cleaner and give it a good elbow grease if not get leather interior cleaner basically get your car cleaned yourself this way ,you get really in there ... when you are all done air freshners that u put on the vents and most of all when you are not driving or its not raining keep the windows cracked. This is what I do because I am a smoker . I really get in there. LOL

Baking soda absorbs all kinds of smells, so you may try to buy one of those containers that are especially designed for fridges (they have a sort of net on both sides, you strip the cardboard cover off and the powder doesn't come out but it allows the air to go through the net and the product) with baking soda inside and leave it in the car for a few weeks....

When I got my new/old car it smelled like smoke too so I put apples in there. They seem to soak up the smell. I know it sounds weird but it worked.

You may not believe this, but cut an apple in half, put in your car. After a few days your car will smell much better.

Febreeze, Renuzit, and leave it with the windows open for a while. Also, when smoking, try to crack a window, that way the smoke will go mostly out.
