i know that mewtwo is inside of it, i just cant get in it. how do i get in?

first thing, defeat the elite four, then go to island one, in the pokemon center, talk to celio, he will tell you he needs 2 gems, go to mt.ember, to the right side you will see 2 rocket grunts, fight them, defeat them, enter the mazy cave, at the end you wll find that the road is spliting up, one of them leads to the ruby gem, the other way you use it to get out easily after obtaining the ruby gem, give it to celio, and find the other gem, the sapphire gem, it is in island 6, in the ruin valley you will see a metal door, a scientist is standing in front of the door, blocking your way, if not, use cut while facing the door, it will open, now you have to find the sapphire gem in the dotted hole, after finding it, the scientist will steal it, he will give you the second password for the ware house in island 5, defeat him, and he'll give you the sapphire, give it to celio, and then go to the cave, in the end of the cave, mewtwo is waiting, enjoy.

You need to defeat the Elite Four and complete the quests in the 7 islands.

Defeat League (Elite 4 and Champion) first time and then train your pokemons until they are strong and the guardian (the man near the cave) let you pass to go to the cave...

You need to beat the elite four and then do the sevii islands quest which you can access from the port in vermillion city

You gotta beat the Elite Four and then you go back and he will be gone...Mewtwo is inside aswell so be prepared! :)
