The democrats are aware of the possible of the success of this new policy - the surge, the command change and strategy - and are now scurrying to find a way to spin their last three years of a total defeatist policy as some kind of weird support for the troops.
Already their immediate withdrawal plans have been modified to just how dangerous it would be to immediately pull our troops out. Make no mistake, their constant criticism of Bush and the present administration won't suddenly stop - but we will begin to see a definite pee-pee dance as they try and decide just what the hell they'll do if this war proves successful.
It should be very interesting - they can only deny the facts coming out of Iraq for so long (look at some of your answers - talk about denial) and then they will have to get on board and stop their silly political grandstanding and actually support America and her efforts in Iraq.
And a personal note to the obviously mentally challenged Harry Reid - You are wrong, sir, the United States has not lost this war.

Yeah it's all bull. We shouldn't have been there in the first place. This entire war was to protect the MONEY of the Bush family and their asshole buddies.

Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Never saw the article, and now I know.
Thank you for showing how words can be false,
at times they are true,
yet soldiers who return,
seem happier to stay,
this reminds me of the movie,
Good Morning Vietnam,
were they lie to troops,
to raise their morale,
only fighting a cause,
that in the end leaves doubts,
for conflict could have been solved,
without using weapons to harm,
yet this is how it will be,
our mistakes repeat,
yet we call ourselves free,
right is the cause of war,
what's left is what we see,
the accomplishments of our victory,
have we gained more than we loss,
who better to decree,
soldiers who sees,
his friends killed,
by a bomb on the street,
yet these words are here,
to show our support,
for all people dying needlessly.
