It may be a urinary tract infection or a bladder infection, but I would go to the doctor and find out...some STD's stay in your system for a while before surfacing, so even though you have been in a committed relationship...it doesn't mean something has creeped up from the past! Go see a doctor! In the meantime..drink lots of cranberry juice...it begins to kill the infection and makes urination easier...less painful!

The two could be unrelated and coincidental.
The burning is symptoms of a urinary tract infection. Left untreated, it can spread to the kidneys and land you in the hospital. The only treatment is antibiotics.
Go to the doctor. They will take a urine sample and you'll know in minutes. Besides, maybe they need to look at that bump. Don't worry about modesty. Believe me, I work in women's health and see "private" areas all day long and we really, really could not care less. To us, it's just another body part---no more/no less. I'm sure its the same way with male patients.

I would advise you to go see a doctor. Next, You maybe committed but what about your partner? Some people may not know they are a carrier of an STD and you may not get the STD the first time or 50th time you have unprotected sex with that person.

I would check it out with the gyno, but a lot of women get urinary tract infections after intercourse, and that sounds a lot like what you may have. Have a professional look at it, and if it is a UTI, they'll prescribe some pills to make the urgency and burning go away. You could also drink cranberry juice.

Are you sure SHE's been in a committed relationship? Get checked out. Most people get in grown hairs down there once in a blue moon, it's rare but it happens. But I don't know what to tell you about the burning.

A visit to a doctor or clinic is in order. It is the only sure way to tell what is going on. It could be a urinary tract infection (much rarer for men than women but it can and does happen). Or it could be something else, either way you will need medication to clear it up. The guessing game sucks, so it is best to just go in and deal with it. Feel better!

Bladder infection or some other type of UTI. I think the bump is just what you said, an ingrown hair.

Could be a urinary tract infection, its rare in men but does happen. Drink tons of water and talk to a doctor. You get steroids and pain killers, if it is. YAY! lol
