geckos prefer live MEALworms.

I have to agree with the other posters...my geckos will only eat LIVE food. I keep a container of calcium dusted mealworms in the tank all of the time and feed crickets each evening. They also like waxworms but they shouldn't be fed all of the time because they are high in fat.

Leopard geckos should be fed a variety of live insects, such as crickets, mealworms, and phoenix worms. Many will not eat dead prey.

mine eat live, just buy a cup of them at the pet store and put them in the fridge until its feeding time, then just put them in a dish. that or live crickets

You should feed them LIVE prey and dont forget to sprinkle them with cal Dust To help them grow and Become Helthy

my gecko was perfecly healthy and I just caught wild crickets and feed to them
