Cat burglar???

It could be several things.
The armless man.
A couple doin' the horizontal dance.
Three blind mice.
Could be several things, but you might want to check underneath your bed, underneath your stairs, your attic and your closet just to be sure.

Around my house I would say cats......though not long ago I smelled skunk pretty seriously. I had a window open--no screen so my cats could come and go at will. I finally sat up and was ready to turn the lights on and skitter, skitter skitter and out the window it went. It had been in the house beside the bed!
Last night I actually saw the critter outside and it WAS a skunk. Neither time did it spray, thank heavens. I will leave it alone because it has never done anything bothersome and as long as nothing scares it I'm OK.
I have thought I had a skunk nearby for a couple of years. I'm a live--let live sort of person.

I am not getting out of bed to go look in the basement so don't even suggest that. I usually hide under the covers when I hear weird noises at night, hoping that if it is a burglar or a serial killer coming in, they don't notice me there.

Im a sleep walker so usually me, which can be odd.
This morning I woke up to discover all of my power points switched off.
Other times Ive found a nice neat pile of folded clothes in the corner of the room, that were strewn about the place the night before.
I dont mind it so much, Ive never woken up.
Its like living with another person that I never get to see, that is always busy doing nice things for me.
Weird.

The state road just put in a new covert in front of my home, and every truck or tractor trailer that goes by also goes bump.
