A notebook should come with their rescue disk. Backup your data, then use the rescue disk to restore.

The chance, is that you have some missing drivers. Perhaps you just installed some kind like "cleaning application" that says it can clean registry or unused files from your computer, but ended up clearing both unused AND used files. That kind of silly software mistake happens a lot. Or, you accidentally uninstalled something.

I assume that the computer worked when you initially purchased it, since you have had it for a month.
If it has a restore disk that came with it, I would use that.
The other alternative is to use Windows system restore, which shouldn't remove all your data like the disk will.
Just type system restore in the search box that comes up when you hit the start button. It will give you a link to the system restore utility.

you should have done some real research before you bought your laptop with vista on it.... I'm not calling your laptop. I am calling vista... it is a useless bit of software with to many bugs in it...

there is only one way to sort out your problem that is to take it back to the store where you got it from and have them sort it out for you...

don't under any circumstance try to sort it out yourself, if you mess it up then you could void the warranty agreement and thats what they look for to get out of any responsibility to you...

i dont know exactly what your talking about with your problems because i have had only improvments with mine.

the best answer i can give to you is to take it back to where you bought it, or to someone that can help you fix it. and tell them what the problems are and they can do it they are proffessionals! good luck! :]
