It will work good. I recommend paying a little more for a AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+, minimum, or you can get a Intel Core 2 Duo for alot more. Never get Intel Pentium Ds. They are horrible in performance. My Athlon 64 X2 5000+ doesn't even try when I'm playing games, it's just idle. I have 3GB DDR2, 400Gb SATA, 8600GTS. Hope This Helps!
