Is icecream tastier from the sides or the top of the container?

Does there need to be a drying out period? How does frost contaminate the experience? Large or small spoon? Please tell...

Eat from the sides until it has enough clearance for the next maneuver - flip the ice cream blob over and eat the bottom. Frost never enters the equation, it doesn't last that long. Iced tea spoon, long handled so your knuckles don't get sticky.
