If you did what you wanted to do and are happy together, then tell you parents to jump in the lake (that's the polite version). We got married after dating 5 weeks. Still together and happy 41 yr later. We married on the beach at sunrise with our friends, flowers, and a jug of Ripple wine. It was what we wanted. Her parents wanted a church wedding, but we did what we wanted.

Your parents want you to divorce so that you can have a wedding and get married again? That's just silly! What you can do is just have another wedding at there house nothing wrong with getting married twice. Or if not there house maybe a park or some place fun.....Make it a wedding party!!!
You can send out wedding invitations and let everyone know your having a 2nd wedding and a party/cookout or something like that.... Don't ask for gifts just there participation......

Respectfully tell them to mind their own business. What's the point of getting divorced and then turning around and marrying each other again. If it would make them feel better and if you want to they can throw you a formal wedding ceremony. Don't do anything you don't want to. It's your relationship, and only you can decide if it's right for you or not.

Oh brother. Don't divorce. Just have a nice wedding service with family and friends, as formal or informal as you want. You don't have to split then re-marry to do that. It is a waste of time and money. Besides, who is to say they won't try to break you up for good by taking advantage of the situation while you are 'single'.

Sounds like your parents are manipulating you into getting a divorce, and then from the sounds of you will probably persuade you to not remarry.
And you are, yet, another KID not ready for marriage if you are letting your parents call the shots.

No divorce. It sounds like they're trying to trick you into getting a divorce so they can kidnap you, take you to another country, and keep you captive so you can never be with your husband again.
Be careful. Be very very careful.

If you're already married, why get divorced just to get married? It doesn't make any sense (and sounds expensive).
