The six year old from next door came to see me today. She told me she has a new kitten called Hego.

"That's great" I said. " How old is he then?"

" It's not a boy, it's a girl" she said " Mummy said it can't have babies though, cos when it's older she's cutting her private bits off!" lmao

If only birth control was that easy!

A few teachers brought in their class to the pet store I work at today & these kids were so well behaved and enjoying all the critters. They wanted to get a few items for the class they were in, so the teachers decided to get a Betta fish.
As they were checking out (my aisle), one little boy got a bit upset because he thought they were going to raise the fish to eat. When I assured him that wasn't the case, that this fish was a fighting fish, he said good it could beat the crap out of his sister.
I had to turn away and start praying I wouldn't wet my pants from laughing so hard.
Art Linkletter was right! They do say the darnest things.

A number of things have made me smile today...one was a teary smile watching the awesome film on Utube of the birth of a dolphin, as suggested by Katrina in Y/As (different Q) and the other was looking out my window to see 6 boys (age range 5 10) playing together....I listened for a while to see what game they were playing and it was X Factor, of all things, with 'acts' and judges. In my day it was games like re-allio, farmer, farmer, tin-a-lerkie and tick, you're on! How times change...and they say that TV doesn't have much impact on kids' behaviour. Hope you are still smiling Sylvia! Keep happy x

It's strange, I'm quite happy but I can not remember smiling at anyone or anything to-day. I must do better. Oh crikey I can I spent some time being teased by the ladies at Weight Watchers and for once holding my own. I don't for a moment believe I won but I gave 'em a good run for their money

Sylvia....I start off each day with coffee and the newspaper...the political sections alone make me laugh...perhaps not in the way you are describing, but laugh never the same. Right now, I am dying laughing at the entire state of Florida!

I've got some great smiles from my friends here on Yahoo. From the man who insists that his wife of 43 years is his very best friend, and he is lucky to have her to the email I received from a friend because she was worried about me...

Yes, I have had smiles today.

As to your little minx...as long as she doesn't try to do it herself, everything will work out.

I was laughing at my friends because they say and do strange things, one of my friends made a 10" cardboard dildo and then coloured it in and gave it to his boss the then gave it to a woman and she jumped because he put it in her face when she wasn't looking and after that it ended up in a woman's jacket and then it disappeared and who knows it might turn up tomorrow?
