Considering safety and cost , which auto do you want to buy?

i like the German built cars they seem to be built tighter,and hold up a lot better,of course we pay for this when we buy one,but you get what you pay for these days,some of the American car companies are going to catch up to them some day i hope,good luck.

German cars have excellent safety engineering technology. They are the pioneers in multiple driving aids (Mercedes S Class was the first to introduce airbags, ABS, ESP while Audi designs 4WD for safety, not off-road driving.)
Japanese cars appeal more in the economical and rational department. It is cheaper to own and mantain, gives more gadget (ie Lexus LS vs BMW 7 series), and positioned more towards the lower end of the market. It provides value for your money.
Considering safety and cost, I would pick the Japanese. It may not have excellent safety inventions, but it offers more safety features for a lot less money.

I favor german cars , but cannot deny japanese reliability. But I love to drive and the feel of a german car is (normally) way better than anything japan can offer and I enjoy the drive instead of just going from point A to point B . German cars are a little more money and can be more to maintain , but is worth every penny . Drive both and you tell us .

If I ever bought an import it would come from Germany or Europe. Japanese cars just lack good looks or passion or something. The engines are too small and lawn mower like.

The only German cars I like are Porsche, Audi, and VW.
The only Japanese cars I like are Mazda, Acura, and Honda.
I would choose German.

if cost is included in any way the japanese car will allways beat a german.
