I am buying a ps3 i want to know what game(s) take the greatest advantage of the graphics capabilities of the system. I like racing and first person shooters. Medal of honor(ps2) is my fav...burnout 3 and n4s underground are also in my top 5. any advice?

Like the other guy said, the racing game with the best graphics is Motorstorm. I haven't seen the graphics for other first person shooters, but I think that Resistance Fall of Man has good graphics because I have the game.

Also, I don't know if you like adventure games, but a game called Lair is coming out August 14th for the PS3 and there is a lot of hype behind this game and this game will take advantage of the PS3's graphics, but we won't see the full potential of the PS3 until maybe 2008.

The best graphics in racing is probably Motorstorm and the best looking shooter is probably The Darkness or Call of Duty 3 but there are way better-looking shooters on the way like Killzone 2 and Haze.

Honestly...why are you even buying this system...pretty much all the games coming out for this thing are gonna be on an xbox360, unless your a final fantasy fan, which i don't think you are...but if you do stick with your decision to buy a ps3 then:

1. Call of duty 4-best shooter
2. Burnout paradise-racer
3.Resistance is pretty good in terms of graphics, but gets boring later...kinda like gears but with worse graphics

killzone 2 has good graphics and hopefully the last remnant and white knight story look as great as they do in short vids when they are finally released.
