Well, there are at least three areas in which one can benefit others. You can benefit them physically by meeting various needs related to health and physical welfare; this can also include psychological and emotional well-being, since tjose are also aspects of our physical health. You can benefit others intellectually by increasing their knowledge, improving their reasoning ability, and disabusing them of absurdities. You can also benefit others aesthetically by improving the quality of their surrondings, demonstrating the aesthetic aspects of belief, and of course generating a culture appreciative of the arts.

These are generally enough to leave the particulars open.

This leaves many questions open, but you didn't ask for a justified answer, just some ways of improvement.

Show people your respect unless they prove they don't deserve it.
If you feel frustration, anger or negative emotions, take a deep breath and try not to take it out on other people around you.
Don't abuse, bully or otherwise try to dominate other people, and don't allow them to do that to you.
Try to find little ways to cheer people up (especially total strangers) without placing any kind of demand on them.
Respect your environment and the environment of others, so don't throw trash there or play loud aggressive music there.
Try to be helpful and patient with the very young and very old.
Try a few "random acts of kindness" - throw a few quarters in some expired parking meters every once in a while.

And your point is? To be a human being doesn't mean anything per se. A human being can be everything - from a saint who helps poor people to a psychotic mass murderer. It's just a name for species. Homo sapiens, you know. Although when I'm watching certain american politicians, I really start to doubt that "sapiens" adjective...
