I would have to start Huard, I mean of course there future is invested on Croyle, but Croyle hasn't played a down yet. It would be foolish to throw Croyle in the fire and there is no guarentee that Larry Johnson will be back to take the pressure off him. Priest may be back will he be the same man he was 2 years ago. Also Huard threw for 11 tds and one int. And had one of the highest QB rating in the NFL. So smart money is on Huard, just let him play pick up some wins so he can go to another team then go the phillip rivers route and let Croyle play

Huard hands down. Huard until he has 2 weeks that are inconsistently bad. Then Croyle time. Don't wanna stick Croyle in right away, cause that just screams a dependency on LJ. At least with Huard at QB, he has the legit threat of an arm as he showed last year. Croyle is the QB of the future, and will be and if the team is not in playoff contention i'd start him. If not and the team can play and be solid, Huard's the right choice.

Well Damon Huard is the more logical choice due to his experience and hes also proven he can win games (he won 4 straight games for the dolphins a few years back when marino was out with a pinched nerve, and went 5-3 last season during Trent Green's abscense). But by the end or maybe mid-season depending on how Huard does, Croyle could certainly become the Chief's starter.

If the season started today, you might as well play Croyle, because LJ is not in the backfield, and you can consider this a rebuilding year. Let Croyle get experience and get better for the future.

Play the future now as in Croyle, if the future is gonna be him why not play him now, what's the different. He can't get better at being on the bench and Huard is not that good anyway, plus he's not even on K.C future plan. Do the right thing play Croyle.

i would say huard. he is a well experienced quarterback, and did an efficient job last year leading the chiefs to a playoff berth. if he started the game vs. the colts i'm sure there would've been a different outcome. brodie croyle is young an inexperienced, entering only his 2nd year in the league and little only had 7 career attempts. i'd rather go with the experienced veteran.

I would say Huard if LJ is on the roster because then they are a playoff team. No LJ then I would go with Croyle and have a rebuilding year.

can someone please explain this to me.. why is Brodie Croyle in the NFL? he completely reeked in college.. honestly he led Alabama through the worst period (record-wise) in the history of the program... lost 4 straight to his rival school.. got sacked so much for holding onto the ball and dancing that he's a permenant joke to Auburn fans.. tends to fumbles and.. his passes float so they get snagged alot.. absolutely 0 talent.. yet he's the "heir aparent"? Honestly this is the most collosally bad decision in the history of the NFL

Huard, he proved himself last year. Less than spectacular receivers, still put up decent numbers. And what did he throw, one pick all year???
