Joico K-Pak shampoo & conditioner are the best for hair that goes through a lot. http://joico.com/product/detail.php?CatID=17

Saturate your hair w/ tap water & apply a bit of conditioner before going into the pool so it doesn't absorb the pool water.

Wear a swimming cap for added protection.

Use a clarifying shampoo once a week to remove any build up. Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo is the best.

A tiny drop of jojoba oil makes a good leave-in conditioner. It's non-comedogenic & washes out easily.

i used to swim everyday.. i would actually advice u to a swim cap which is water proof.. it's a rubbery kinda thing which u put it on and ur hair juz stays dry for as long as u r in the water.. better then ruining ur hair i guess..
