Seeing as you have blue eyes just about every color compliments your eye color, I'd recomend black for a really smokie look, first you have to line your eye with a dark black pencil or liquid black eyeliner then use your eyeshadow and start from your nose and work it over lighten it at the the end; it will give it a compleate smokie look...anything else? This may not be the proper way to do it.. but its quick easy and works for me. Take black eyeliner and line your eyes with a medium sized line. Then take a q-tip and smudge the line by blending it out and over your eyelid. Its relatively easy. Good Luck!

for blue eyes go with browns and deep purples.

-first, apply powder to the eyelid to allow shadow to stay in place
-apply colored liner to top of the eye
-soften the line with the dark shadow on top of it
( always remember darkest color on the lid, lightest on top to highlight the eye brow )
-line under the eye softly and smudge so it doesn't look so dramatic
-finish with lengthening mascara in black or brown, usually 1-2 coats should do

the trick is making sure everything is blended and not so harsh.
good luck.

colors
use a dark blue to cover the whole eyelid
then get thick liquid black liner and trace the top lid starting at the eylash.
then use that same dark blue shadow and kinda brush on bottom of eyes
then use black leaghinting mascara
