Final Fantasy 12? anyone played it?

i want to know if final fantasy 12 is any good. i also want to know if their is any cheats for it. please and thank you

I Played final fantasy 7,8, and 10 at least a hundred hours each and can say this only just misses out on matching up to them. The new battle system is awesome and not half as bas as every one says. the only difference between this and previous final fantasys is that you can move around in between taking turns, thats it. The rather **** thing is that the only 'side quests' available are hunts, whereby you visit a pub and take up a contract to kill a Very-hard-for-your-level monster. But these are easily overcome by just skipping them and returning at a higher level when you can just easily beat them. The story for this game is VERY dull. Its all oh, so it turns out theyre brothers.......oh , so he's the king's son...... oh, it was his twin that killed the king not him (thats not a big spoiler you find that out about an hour into the game)..... not very good story twists rly. There aren't any cheats for it unless you use an action replay disc or something , i reckon there'd be some for that.

Most games even if they go in a series where they have games following the same story have some sort of introduction for new players. How ever Final Fantasy XIII is completely unrelated to all the other Final Fantasy games the only thing they have in common is the name the producers and the great quality. I highly recommend you get FFXIII when it comes out and even if you wanted to get FFXII or any of the others to get a feel for the series I'd highly recommend that too. My favourites have been FFX and FFVII.

I played the demo, which was enough for me to decide I didn't want to buy the game, at least not new.

It has gotten rave reviews from some game magazines and I haven't really heard many complaints about it though. It is afterall, still final fantasy.

I loved FFXII. I've beaten it 3 times. It's a great game, and the new battle system rocks. There are no cheats for it, but there are some good walkthroughs online. Here's one:

I have played ff7,ff8,ff9,ff10,ff10-2,ff tactics and ff12

I have to say i think the game is a real let down, the story isnt in depth as normal final fantasies and they ruined the battle system. hopefully they would make the next one better.
srry to be the guy that hates that game.

DEFINETLY!!!!
the game took me over 112 hours to beat. (well, really 100) but im still doing all kinds of side quests. i think im almost done, but it is DEFINETLY a good buy and not a waste of money.
(and no i don't suck at the game. i am very good at it.) so i would recommend it to every final fantasy fan. BUY the game. its my favorite out of the whole series.

the battle system was great but had barely no story whatsoever.i was spoiled by the constant story updates in ffx which was a little bit too much for me but still great.ff12 was fun but really lacking in some parts like story and most of the aeon summons were pretty gay and not as powerful as my lowest level characters.
