maybe because ainge knows a lot about celtics history and red auerbach's style by signing allen and kg even though they're in their 30s.
to name a few, even though some of them did'nt win a ring and already past their primes, still made the celtics contenders; pete maravich, dave bing and one of their great steal, bill walton.
the leprechaun is back?!!!

LOL its ok everyone makes mistakes once in a while
KG is definitely a top 10 player in the league right now!!
He brings intensity and passion to the team
Dude can hit jumpers from everywhere, rebound, defend, post up...he can do it all!
He's one of the best big men in the league in passing
YEs this is a very good trade for Boston
They already had Ray Allen and Paul Pierce who are in their 30s hungry for a championship...both of those guys are good shooters and explosive scorers
on top of that they added an inside presence in Kevin Garnet...they've put some of the best players in the league in 3 slots and all 3 of those guys will definitely will be all stars
if those 3 start playing defense and kick up their defensive efforts up a notch...watch out
Celtics are definitely gonna be top 3 in the East fsho...who knows maybe they might win the Eastern Conference after all...they have a great chance of doing that!
Ainge looks like the smartest guy in the world now

This team would kick *** for the next couple of years buy then it would fall apart when they retire... Trade some of them for some young guns while they still retain their value and keep making a good young team with a few veterans to mentor these young guys. The Celtics are NOW OFFICIALLY a playoff contender and KG and Ray can dominate in the East and maybe make finals?? They have a chance to win it all this year but after awhile it will not be such a cozy time for Boston.

I still hate Danny Ainge, why? It's good that he has Garnett, but the 3 star players the Celtics have now are over 30. Within the neext 4-9 years, they'll retire and he'll have no young guys.

All I can say that if this materializes is wow! My brain can't take the possibilities, I like Boston just like I love the Bulls. If this materializes I would have to thank Danny Ainge for the resurrection of the club. Wow! three all-stars in one team, Just wow! Mind boggling!

Admittedly I am a non-Danny Ainge fan, I considered him also a bad GM but the Garnett trade definitely biggest pull of the year, Definitely saves his butt! hehehe

Meh. I wouldve preferred an inside physical prescence like Howard to complement the slashing/perimeter shooting of Pierce and the long range bombs of Ray Allen over KG. But i suppose it aint that bad.
