rub a cream on it like 'oxy' it helps for me and if i use it every day, at least twice a day, it should be gone in a couple of days. and make sure that you keep it from drying out by putting face lotion on it.
good luck on your audition!

Don't over do it with soap- you'll irritate it. I would do hot compresses (microwave a wet rag, hold it on the blemish for 10 minutes) repeat every hour (I've only done it 4 times max). This should draw the infection (pus) to the surface, then you can pop it. Make sure not to spread the pus anywhere else or you'll get another zit. Then put toothpaste (yep) on it over-night. Don't do this to close to the audition (I'd stop the day before) because the area will be red from all the blood being drawn to it.
Hope this works!

E G is right, if you do anything drastic like that you're just going to make it worse. Soap will dry out your face and cause you to produce MORE oil causing more acne... maybe just in time for your audition. Go seek help from the pros. You make luck out and get enough free samples to last you until this weekend.
You may want to ask in a dermataology section if that exists here :-)
Good luck!

Until then, eat no junk food or oily/greasy food. Drink 2 litres of water a day (not counting coffee, tea, soft drink, alcohol, etc). Have lots of fruit and vegetables and especially garlic - nature's antibiotic and pore-cleaner. Garlic breaks down to molecules that are excreted with sweat through your pores - they are the largest molecule to do this (larger ones go to your kidneys or bowel) and so they push the crud out of your pores too.
It is better to cover up a pimple with foundation than to pop it. If you must pop, wash hands and scrub fingernails before and afterwards, and swab the pimple with alcohol-based cleanser. Most infection in pimples comes from squeezing blocked pores and getting staphylococcus (which lives on all of us) into the wound.

I use Oxy 10 and Sea Breeze. I put Oxy 10 on at bedtime and wash my face with Sea Breeze on cotton balls 3 times a day. Break a leg.
