Yes you can. See, most nipple rings(if it's truly a ring and not a stud/barbel type) have a little ball where the ends of the ring meet. The ball is held in place most times because the ring itself is flexible enough to allow the ball(which has little indentations on those two sides) to be held firmly in place and yet still removable too. The other kind is a ball with threading on one end and an opening to accommodate the flared end on the other side of the ring. If you've got the pressure kind, you'll need a good grip(my lover had to use a pair of pliers because she's not strong enough to do it herself)with a good amount of control too. Else you can cause yourself some discomfort. If you're asking BECAUSE you just got the ring and you decided you truly don't want it, then yes, you can still take it out. Just remember to use anti-bacterial soap every shower, no alcohol at all, and Neosporin every day too and things will heal up just fine.
