Implantation spotting only happens in about a third of all pregnant women. It is very light pink, brown, or mucus tinged with pink. It does not require the use of any sanitary product, no tampon, pad, or even panty liner. It is usually only present when wiping. It lasts a few hours.

Implantation bleeding is usually brown tinged like old blood or pinkish and is barely there. You should only really see it on the toilet tissue or a slight stain on a pantyliner if any. It will last usually no longer than a few hrs or day and half.. about 48 hrs at the most.

Anything more than that my Dr says should be considered a light period..

Good Luck..baby dust...

The most I've heard was it could last anywhere from 3-5 days. If you think this is implantation bleeding, then you could either wait a week from now and take a urine pregnancy test, or you could go to your doctor and have a blood pregnancy test done. I will tell you that the blood tests can show pregnancy faster than the urine would and blood tests are ALWAYS accurate.
