we have been dating for 2 months, last weekend, he took me dinner, we went to see the show, he spent about $200, so I wrote him an email to thank him for the wonderful weekend. but he didnt reply, so I called him bcos I miss him and asked him if he got the email, he said yes, then he said he had a good time too. he says he prefers face to face talk, then phone calls.
but b4 we used to exchage emails a lot, does this show his less interest? I know he has access to internet during work and not that busy.
by the way, he went to do a std test today as I require him to, he told me he is interested in long term and we regularlly date on weekends, but Im not sure how serious he is to the relationship.

Why is this in the "marriage and divorce" section? Shouldn't it be in the gay/lesbian section?? He's probably got several boyfriends anyway and you are just one.

Good for you that you require a STD test. I am really proud of you. I don't think he is less interested in you if he went and did the test. I think you should just back off just a little. Guys like to do the chasing. Don't call him or email him for awhile. Let him come to you.

Maybe he is waiting on you to reciprocate on the dinner/show date. After all, why should he be the one doing all the giving? What makes you too good to show him the town? He may be backing off because he thinks you are going to expect too much from him. Like the Janet Jackson song "What have you done for ME lately?" I'm not saying you are selfish, cause I don't know you. I'm just throwing out a suggestion cause you asked.

Ok if he's willing to take an std test for you then i'd definatly say he's intrested. Good for you for making him do that too. Not very many girls even care about that stuff untill it's too late. Just sit him down and tell him how you feel. Honesty is the best policy. If he really likes you then he'll listen.

I wouldn't base any decision on email responses. Maybe since he has gotten to know you better, he prefers to talk directly to you. When you don't know a person well it is easier to put things in writing because you have time to think about what you want to say. Once you have established a relationship, you feel more comfortable with the person and can talk face to face more easily.

If he takes the std test, {1 he is interested} {2 He is afraid, of what he is doing, while your not with him} { 3 he dose not trust you}

He doesn't want calls or e-mails? Who's he afraid might intercept them? But it's only been two months so why are you in such a rush? Take it easy; let him make the moves, take time to get to know the guy.

Are you a woman or a man? your name is John? Anyway, guy or gal, I'd say he's interested in you. I wouldn't base his interest level in you based on him not wanting to e-mail. I doubt he'd bother with the STD test if he wasn't serious.

Maybe he just doesn't want to get in trouble at work. Or maybe he's ticked off, because you made him take an STD test.

He would rather talk to you face to face rather than emailing and you are wondering if he is interested? That makes no sense.

Ask him, 'face to face'. That's the only way you can be sure. Unfortunately, often when we get that feeling that something is wrong (like you said, he used to write e-mails), it is.
Good luck!
