I would not. Women usually always take the word of their man. I would tell that guy that was totally inappropriate and that you did not appreciate him coming to you like that and do ever do it again, or you will be force to tell your friend.

As her best friend, you are obligated to telling her what has been going on because if she finds out on her own, she will be even more upset. Who cares about the guy? Men come and go, but true friends last forever. I think that you should let her know. If she gets upset explain to her that the reason why you told her is because you two have been there for each other for a long time and you did not want to see her get hurt. If she gets mad, give her time she will come around.

I was in this same situation once too. I chose to tell her because if he was hitting on me then I could only assume that he was hitting on others and maybe with some success. Nobody deserves that!! If she chooses to overlook his infidelity and stay with him then this is her choice to do so but at least she can make that choice honestly. If she gets upset after learning the truth and she really is a good friend then YOU'RE not the one she should be made at. Whatever you do please way all the pros & cons carefully!! I was fortunate enough to have a GREAT friend & it remains that way to this day. Can't say the same for her boyfried cuz she kicked him to the curb. Now she has a wonderful man & she couldn't be happier. Good Luck!!! DooMee2x

Say nothing, but be too busy to see them for a week. Then ignore the huy. If your friends wnats to know why, do not tell the truth, which will huty her. Write an anonymous note on a typewriter and have it mailed fropm out of state with no return adress. Have someone write it NOT in your language, just saying he's hitting oin her firneeds.

first talk to him and tell him to stop that your not interested in him and you dont anpreciate him hitting on you and then threaten that you will tell your friend if he truely cares about your friend he'll leave you alone but if he doesn't stop then go ahead and tell your friend sure she'll be pretty mad but its better to find out the truth from a best friend than to find out some other way. if at first she doesn't believe you try hard to convince her in any way you can. every friendship has ups and downs but with each down comes an up

You might want to tell her. And tell her it's up to her to do whatever she feels is right with the information. That you certainly don't want or expect them to break up, but you just want to give her a heads up on what he does when she's not around. Also, that you felt you had to tell her since she's been your friend for so long. If she's ignorant enough to blame you for this jerk, then she's obviously not a true friend and prefers to have her head in the sand. It's really up to her if she wants to continue to trust this weasel. But tell her, just in case he wants to try and turn this around.
Hopefully she'll be wise enough to know how to handle this without hurting the friendship.
Continue to be her friend, but avoid being around when he's around. I mean, why put yourself through this?
Good luck.

re-read your post you said they are happy? obviously not if he's calling you to shack up. I wouldn't tell your friend nothing happen between you to let it go if he continues to make sexual gestures to you than i would confront him with you telling his girlfriend than go to the girlfriend. i always stand by no man gets in the way of my friends. friends will always come first men are like usses they come along every 5 minutes.
