This is my second pregnancy and I feel the worst pressure ever. It is worse if I sit or lay on my side. It even hurts to push on my belly a little bit. The only thing that really helps is to stand. If I am standing and bend over a little that hurts too. Is it possible for the babies head to be engaged? I know that it is early but that is what it feels like. I go to the doctor in the morning but I am wondering if any one else had this same problem. I haven't had contractions or anything its just a constant pain. It almost feels like the same pain that you have when you have your first few contractions but just constant. If the baby is just sitting that low would that also cause that much pain?

Also I forgot that the baby hasn't moved very much since this all started which was last night.

With my first pregnancy I had terrible pain in the pelvic area through the second half of the pregnancy. I asked my doctor a couple times as I found it hard to believe it was normal. He told me that all babies can push and lay differently from the next baby so it's different for everyone, everytime. I used to have a terrible time sitting, getting to a laying position or getting up. As long as I stood or laid down, it was managable. Now with my second (and last!) pregnancy, it wasn't like that at all. I had no pains like that what-so-ever. Chances are the baby has gotten him/herself into an odd position where there's a lot of pressure. As long as you're going to the doctor tomorrow, I'd mention it, but I don't think you really need to be concerned about it. Hope the pain subsides and you have an excellent pregnancy and delivery!!

Sorry don't know a lot about that, I would get checked just in case they can help you, and in case it is something that the pain would get worse, even if the baby were fine, you being in pain isn't good either. At best just to set your mind at ease. Good luck!

If you have reduced fetal movement, then that is a number one reason to call your Doctor. It is very important they keep an eye on that.

Also, it sounds like something is a miss with your body. Most likely it is nothing, but it is better that you call your doctor for the pain as well.

I think you should go to the ER and be on the safe side, unless you can hold until your docs appointment, this sounds a bit like something you SHOULD be seeing the doctor for NOW. so just go tonight. GOD Bless
