I DO NOT know what Home Sick means, because my folks' home was taken as a whole since 1948.

I was born in a strange country, and I am treated as a foreigner in that country.

I carry a Passport of another country...

My Mom is from another Country...

Never known a TRUE HOME to me than the one I was born in, and I am always there in that Home; except when I go for short work travels; where I do not feel Home Sick...

I envy u all for the sole reason u all have Homes to belong to.

My home is too many of them, and yet I do not know but the one I was born in, and I am never away from it.

ISN'T THAT WEIRD..?

i know this will sound strange, but 2 years ago my parents and i spent the winter in florida as we always do and at that time i had a guinea pig which my sis-in-law was greatful enough to watch for me while i was down there, well,i was there not even two months and i got extremely homesick, not to just go home sick, but guinea pig homesick, my niece was coming down to visit us so my mother called her and asked her to get me a oneway ticket back to new york, and when she came down to see us ,she and i left for home together.

All the time. That's why I stay in touch with my sister and all of my neices and nephews as much as I can. You can take the girl out of Philadelphia but you cant take Philadelphia out of the girl.

Sounds like a wise thing to do, and you should stay in touch with them in case your current housing situation doesn't work out.
