Yep. A band geek to be specific. I was also in the Science Bowl and did math contests. I was soooo cool!

Actually, other people considered me to be a GIGANTIC nerd in elementary school.

It's true I was a little smarter than average. But what I think is really screwed up, when I was in 5th grade people were so mean and cruel to me, both in words and sometimes in physical violence, that my grades really suffered. Seems to me the very definition of "nerd" is someone who is "brainy" and always gets good grades in school. But I almost failed that grade because I was so disturbed by people picking on me and calling me "nerd" day in and day out. amongst other things.

However, when I got into middle and high school, things got a lot better. I started to make a few friends and acquaintances, and I was less shy. In high school I guess I was best defined as quiet (pretty typical for me) part of the "goth group." Even though I wasn't really goth, I just got along really well with those who were. Most people just ignored me and left me alone, and honestly I would much prefer they do that, then abuse me.

Yeah, but I was the cool nerd that hung out with every group and went to everything but still graduated at the top of the class.

I guess I was, as I knew the only way I could go to college was to get high enough grades to get a scholarship. I graduated in the top 10% of my class and did achieve my dream of becoming a RN. I was also a country farm kid in a town highschool which made me a part of the no-body group who couldn't take part in extracarricular activities because I had to catch the bus home immediately after school was out.

No. I was one of the popular girls. Then I decided to rebel against the caste system of my school, and I became the outcast for a while. I eventually began just hanging out with all different kinds of people. If I liked them, I hung out with them. I seemed to have a lot more friends who were guys than girls though. The guys were way less bi@chy! haha

I was a nerd who thought after school activites were dumb.
I didn't get my first girlfriend until my Senior year, and that's when the fun began.
