i posted last night about having a c section on august 2nd...and my fears and what not...well i thought i would put an update...i went to the drs today and the baby turned and is now head down...he must have done it while i was sleeping...i am also 2 centimeters dialated and 80% effaced...wednesday i have to go in at night and they will have me admitted and i will get the stuff on my cervix to help it dialate better and then thursday if he is still head down and they see no other problems they will break my water and hopefully he will b here shortly after that...so thanks to everyone who gave advice. MY ONLY QUESTION IS....do u think he will flip around and b bottom first between now and wednesday/thursday? how many other women have been through this? thanks again

this is my second child the first was born vaginally and that is how i am hoping this one goes...the ultrasound tech said that his head was right on my cervix and believe me i can tell...so im hoping hes logded there and wont be trying to turn...but even if he does and i have a c section its not the end of the world and my husband and i won't be having anymore kids anyways...weve been to hell and back with both pregnancies and i have had to take meds for morning sickness the entire time so its just time for us to quit...besides as he put it we have the perfect fam a boy and a girl...but thanks to everyone who is trying to help

Its likely that he COULD turn again, but not neccesarily, i am sure he is now in postion to come out for sure, and WHO KNOWS you may go into labor WAY before thursday, so watch out for it. When babies are ready to go you will know, dont worry yourself hun, just know by the end of this week, you will have that beautiful baby in your arms, BE SURE TO GIVE ANTOHER UPDATE!

God Bless

Just wanted to say good luck and congrats. I know a lot of people who have gone through that. Most whos baby does turn, once the baby turns are ok. Then they are in that position, anything is possible, but I really only know people whos baby's turned for the better.
I know someone with twins that I was told stood on her head desperate not to have a c-section. She didn't but I don't think that made the babies turn. I get why it would be scary and it takes longer recovery.
As you probably know, people can have a baby naturally after a c-section. It doesn't mean forever more your kids would be born that way. Best of luck!

Hello,
There is always a possibility of your baby turning around before now and then.. After all look at the difference the baby made over night...
I think you should walk walk walk and walk some more as it will help the baby to lodge itself further into your pelvis!

The only true way to find out what will happen is time, time is the only way to tell 150% what is going to happen!

Good luck

I went through this too! My second born went breach and then after the doctor had talk to me that Monday about flipping the baby! Fyi heard bad things dont do it! Anyway that wednesday i went into labor after they check me inside! I was 35 weeks pregnant! That Monday i was dilatated to 2cm that wednesday i was dialated to 6cm. They did an unltra sounds before hand and he had flipped on his own! So i would just wait it out and be calm! No one can say for sure! But i wish the best for you!

I have not been through what you are going through, but my daughter was a breech delivery. The doctor did not know she was breech or she turned at the last minute. I did not make it to the hospital in time for a c section and had to deliver breech. Everything went fine. I hope you find this reassuring, all can go well even when it doesnt go exactly as planned.

YAY baby!! it's unusual for them to flip back upwards but nothing is impossible. Gravity will help keep your little imp head down for you.

Odds are he will stay head down, his shoulders make it hard for him to flip again....which is good! Good luck!
