it was something similar to The Game Of... i dont know the rest. Its an old old book. It was mentioned in the movie Zodiac(2007). Please help.

"The Most Dangerous Game" (1924) is a famous short story by Richard Connell and the author's most well-known work. It concerns a big-game hunter trapped on the island of a fellow hunter who, bored with conventional prey, has come to see humans as the only quarry worthy of his skill (human hunting).
The Zodiac, a 2005 film, shows sequences where the Zodiac killer watches scenes from "The Most Dangerous Game" at the Empresso Cinema.
In Zodiac, the 2007 film, director David Fincher's tale of the unsolved California serial killings in 1960s and 1970s cites the story and subsequent film adaptations often as inspirations for the killer.
