There are many breeds of dwarf rabbit. Besides pet shops I would check with the local 4-H club and if your local high school has agriculture education, the FFA. Both orginisations should be able to steer you to a breeder and if that happens to be a member you can be pretty certain that the animals are well cared for and healthy.
It is about the time of year for county and State fairs where you may find different breeds in the show and can meet breeders.

Of course there are such things! I had a lop-eared dwarf bunny and now I have a Mini Rex Bunny which is basically a dwarf. And most pet stores have them. Sometimes the stores where they would have hamsters and guinea pigs and small animals would have them.

Yes, theres alot of different breeds that are smaller. The actual "Dwarf" breed is the netherlands dwarfs, but there's alot of other breeds that only get around 4 lbs or less, where are you from? You might go to google or yahoo and look up local breeders in your state. Yes there are as I had one until she went missing a few months ago. My husband bought me mine from the pet shop but sometimes they have rabbits at shelters or pounds so you would be saving a life.

Yes! I have a netherland dwarf rabbit and she is my pride and joy! She is snow white with black rings around her eyes and little black ears!
