how do you make fractured marbles?

Hi:

The marbles are made in the following way: First the glass marble is heat until it molten. then dunk in a bucket of water then it reheated again but not to the molten stage and dip into the molten glass to from a glass coating and allowed to cool very slowly. It also called crackled glass as well

And that is how they make fractured marbles

You will need a propane blowtorch ,green brazing googles, Glass tubing ( colored if you want colors along with clear glass tubing for coating them ) a water bucket, a annealing oven to do this.

Use Cat eyed marbles and pour into a sheet cake pan and place in 200 degree oven for 15-20 minutes, then remove from over and have a bowl of iced water with ice floating in it and pour marbles into the cold water. they will start cracking almost immediately.

if you mean absolutly destroy the marbles and not just crack them, try sticking them in the oven for a while. all the little air bubbles will expand until... pop. much neater and less dangerous than smacking them with a hammer.
