I've heard so many, such as when one of my friends looked at another and said: Where's Rina?, and Rina was the person she asked... So funny!
Another time a girl asked; "Does milk come from the earth?", RETARDED.
Another: "Are we attached to the earth by the iron in our blood?" LOL!
or... "Is everyone a word?" <- the person was high, but still, so retarded.
Not to forget: "How many stars are there?"
Then there's the ppl that simply don't know much of ANYTHING, that's when questions like these come up:
"Who's Princess Diana?"
"Who's Shaqueal O'Neil?"
"Who's Bono and Bob Geldof?"
"What's Live 8?"
"Tony Blair? Who's that?"
And, the answer is no, I'm not making this up. By the way, these questions were asked by the same person.
There's also dumb statements, but that's a whole other question.
Ow, just remembered another: "Is Africa a continent or a country?"

I think a dumb question is one where the answer is so very obvious that it is right in front of your face. Like one time I was standing outside with a group of co-workers waiting for a bus to come and pick us up for a meeting, and another co-worker walked out of the building and asked, "Has the bus come yet?" One of the other people said, under her breath, "Would we be standing here if it had come?" lol
