If someone dies and they make out a "Trust", how long after the death does one get an hereitance if there is one for them? How do you ever know if you get an inhereitance?

Contact an attorney and tell them of your concerns, the good ones will give you a first time free consultation for a limited time. I would contact my local court house and ask them this question

It takes as long as the Probate Court takes to review all of the decedents assets & will (if they had one!). You will be notified by the court OR the executor of the will, OR both.
