I just got a white molly. I think she is pregnant, but im not sure. She is deffinantly fatter than the other female molly that i have.
How do i tell:
1)if she is pregnant
2)when she will have her babies

The gestation period is 28 days
I just found fry from my offspring white molly last week, and I found about 10 of them, they grow big and healthy and not even the betta disturbs them

Any way, how to tell if she's pregnant is pretty easy, she will get fat and will have a dark gravid spot, and also will get kind off a squary look beneath her head
I don't have a pic of a molly, but here is a video about a guppy that shows exactly what I'm talking about, it looks really similar to a white molly, just that the gravid spot isn't as distinctive

I wouldn't put her in a breeder, because that will really stress her out especially because a white molly is pretty big

My recommendation, get a lot of live plants, that way your fry is save from the mom because they can hide in there

Hope that helps
Good luck

If a molly has been in the same tank as a fertile male in the last 3-6 months, it will be pregnant and will have babies. Often times you won't see the babies because they get eaten. If you really want to save the babies, you will need a breeder's net.
