your piston rings are wearing down and are allowing oil to get past.
If it's just 1 cylinder and it's become a drivability issue, you can put a spark plug non-fouler in place, they're like $6.

If the plug is oil fouled (oil on the plug electrode) it could be one of 4 things. Worn rings= smoke all the time. Bad valve guide seals= smoking during startup, quits 2 to 5 minutes afterward. On some cars there is a vacuum line that goes to the transmission. This is a vacuum shift modulator and sometimes the diaphragms go bad and the engine will suck transmission fluid through the hose. It may have a blown head gasket and one of the oil galleys is pumping into a cylinder. Or you could have misdiagnosed it and had oil leaking onto the plug and got it dirty while pulling it. Do a compression test to be sure. It will test between 140psi and 180 psi AND HOLD THE THROTTLE OPEN! if it tests low it is wearing out. if it tests way high, you have a blown head gasket

In simple terms, it means oil is getting into that cylinder, if the oil is dripping off of the electrode of the spark plug. If, however, the oil is dripping from higher up on the outside of the spark plug, if you have an engine where the spark plugs are recessed through the Valve Cover, it means the valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals are leaking oil into the spark plug wells.

It means that there is a problem in that cylinder. It could be several things, piston rings, valve guides, head gasket. I t is time to take it in and get it fixed. Or do it yourself. good luck.
