I made the same mistake when signing with Verizon, they ask if you have more than one computer. Ask them if you can exchange your modem.

You need a router. You connect the modem internet feed to the WAN port of the router. You connect the pcs to the LAN ports of the router. If the router has 1 LAN port, you also need a network switch and you plug the router LAN port to the switch and the LAN pcs into the network switch.

You can also get a wireless router where you link some pcs via wireless.

Household grade, low rent, medium quality routers are marked by D Link, Belking, Netgear, and Linksys. 3 Com makes some that are a little better and a little more costly. Probably you will want to consider these.

Follow the directions in the manual for connection.

You will need a ROUTER. I use a LinkSys router. You will hook your cable into the modem, the modem will connect to the router at the WAN connection. The router has four "outs" that you can use. Run connections from these to your PC's. If they are not near each other, you will need to go wireless. Which means you will have to buy WIFI cards for each PC to hook up. The router you purchase in this instance will of course be wireless. This sounds more complicated than it is. If you can connect your PC to a broadband modem, you can hook all this up.

Get a router.

Google it if you don't know what it (router) is.
