That's up to your employer how to handle that. You have no entitlement to sick days in the US.

Greenonion it depends on wether or not you are full time., If you are full time you get 5 sick days and after a year one week of vacation. Now if you rack up sick days any employer will hold it against you even with an excuse and oh I know the company you are talking about very well.

And by the way this is NOT an investing question belongs over in Heath.

depends on who you work for , no absenties can be 1.5 days a month earned, other wise called loose it or use it days, Every company is different
