I lost my installation CD and i need to reinstall XP Home. Is there any other way i can get a new CD with out calling? Because i need money to call.

You may be able to request on line from the Dell site but I believe you need to call their toll free number.

Try the online web support. Or email them. If you get just a reg XP cd, you will need the drivers and software put back on. Which means you need to go to dell anyways.

if you know someone with an xp home image on disk, you can use it to re-format and activate windows with the code on the sticker on the side of your tower. then register over the phone with microsoft.

Go to a COMPUTER-SPECIFIC store like CompUSA (NOT a generic one like Circuit City or Best Buy) and buy an install disc there.
