I'd like to really consider Bush's opinion on what will happen if we withdraw from Iraq. But being that he either lied or mislead us (with possible evidence stemming from the infamous Downing Street Memo), I'd like to know how we can trust his judgement on the assertion that if we withdraw from Iraq it will be hell?

Bush did NOT pass on the information about Iraq until he had approved it, bone heads!

If you dare question the US President you will be accused of being "un-American" ... so that's not much of an incentive for independent thought is it? The other stupid rationale is that you don't support the troops. I think modern Americans are capable of working out that troops go where they are told by the government and if all those people who treated the Vietnam vets like dirt are feeling guilty well that is their problem.
You can support the troops and support peace as well ... I mean why would you want your troops to die?
ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBILITY LIES WITH THE LEADER - BUSH.

Don't you love all the conservatives who are citing the NYT article, even though they supposedly hate the Times? I guess it's ok when it's convenient.
Bush has no idea what would go on in Iraq if we withdrew, they haven't thought about it at all, and they started this war with absolutley no exit strategy. It's all been guesswork and lies. So no, we can't believe a thing he says. If his mouth is moving, he's lying.

So Bush went out and collected ALL of the evidence of the supposed WMD in Iraq, by HIMSELF? He provided the evidence to the CIA, the IAEA and United Nations (all who are on record stating Iraq had or was pursuing WMD) back when he was governor of Texas in the late-1990s? I suppose he was prodding all of the Democrats back in the 1990s who were calling Iraq a threat as well (Al Gore, John Kerry, Bill Clinton)?

For BUSH to be wrong about this, then all of the above agencies and persons are wrong and are just as responsible as he is.

You really don't give a damn about Bush's opinion, so trying to appear like you are non biased is hypocritical at best on your part. What you do not understand is that every nation around the world had the same Intel from their own intelligence services. This is the same intel that Clinton and congress saw throughout that whole administration. So just be an adult and say "I don't like Bush" instead of the child you and those like you are and get on with it.

its funny how John Kerry sat on the Intel committee and the rest of Congress got the same info but they didn't lie.

Germany, France, Russia, even the mosad thought they had WMD's

The reason Germany France and Russia didn't invade is because they were too busy making oil contracts with Saddam and if they invaded there went their contracts.

The media is so bias you cant count on the coverage they give. CNN is so bias they refer to the the troop surge as "The alleged Troop Surge" Alleged?? Additional troops were sent in what is alleged?

I believe that his judgment can not be trusted. I believe that we should make that clear to our congressmen, by letters, email, phone calls, possibly by public demonstration.

Bush was not wrong on WMD's. We can trust his judgment because the US is winning the war against terrorists in Iraq. Check today's news in the New York Times, specifically the report from the Brookings Institute.

It is not only George Bush who fears an all out civil war and a blood bath. Most of the intelligentsia in the entire world see it that way.

Faith. I don't believe in scientific theory such as gravity or evolution. I believe in Bush. Bush provided the intel to congress, why not just believe what he provided with no questions?

Even though this intel has now been proven to be false, some of it might have been true if history was different.....
