Just take the old HD out of the old comp, set the drive to be a slave and copy the songs over.

If you still have the computer that had the songs downloaded on to the hard drive, then NO, you didn't lose them.

Does the old pc work? If so you can transfer the old files to the new.

If the old pc does not work and the old hard drive does, you can load it as a slave drive in the new pc and then transfer the files using Windows explorer

If the you wiped off the old hard drive ...yes but if you still have the old computer with the hard drive ...use CD -RW and burn in your songs into a cd and then upload in your new pc

where did you stoore the songs you downloaded dude? If its in the old comp search for them - unless you stored them online

Unless you backed them up on an External Drive, or you copied them to a CD, or DVD, to transfer later then there gone.
