At first, I'd be too awe-struck to do anything but look around and absorb the wonder of the moment. I'd probably do like Tom Hanks imagined in Apollo13 where he ran his hands through the lunar dust. I'd watch how weird it is for dust just to fall right back to the ground in stead of floating around.

I'd look at the sky and up at the Earth and think what an amazing thing it is to be there doing that. Of course I'd have to play around in low-g, throwing things, jumping, etc. I'd have to leave a little something behind on the Moon like some of the astronauts did, just so I could look back up there once back on Earth, and know that I was there. Wow, I just want to go right now - anybody I can hitch a ride with? :)

Cruise around in the rover. Sled down the biggest crater. Put up a basketball board and do some REAL slamdunks. See how far I could throw a moonrock. Make some 'bigfoot' tracks and then call the other guys over to tell them what I had found. Call my cellphone company and tell them I need my coverage area expanded. Eat a piece of cheese while being televised to NASA and tell them I found it on the surface. Talk to 'the man'.
