My system motherboard got corrupted and i took the hard disk and plugged in another system without reinstalling windows but after booting i got a blue screen error and i am sure the hard drive is ok. Is there anyway to use that hard disk without reinstalling windows so that i dont need to reinstall again as well as i could get my data back.

{your question really belongs in a different forum.}

yes.

put the old hard drive in an enclosure, thus making it into a USB hard drive. Then boot any other windows xp machine normally and plug the USB drive in.

After Windows recognizes the drive in the USB enclosure, it should read it normally despite that it is internally coded as bootable.
