Brokeback Mountain. It was like a punch in the gut when I finally watched it earlier this year. It wasn't exactly a biography for me, but I have traits of both characters (mostly Ennis) and yes, I was married for years. Made me realize in my 50s finally that I've wasted my life trying to please people who should mean nothing to me and who don't even deserve my respect. Better late than never. Ironically, every family member I've come out to so far has been totally accepting. Should have done it years ago.

I would have to say Rent. It encouraged me to change my outlook on life, because no matter what happened in their lives they always stuck through it. It's an incredible movie about the power of friendship too...and made me a better friend to people.

Many action picture are in basic terms undeniable entertainment, yet some movies have stimulated me. They make me wanna be nicer, be a greater effective man or woman, to attempt greater good and so on. it somewhat is in undemanding terms some million in a one hundred that are inspiring so it is not as often as one might think of.

Well, actually, the movie Rent told me to come out of the closet to my friends an family. I really enjoyed that movie, I also like the Eating Out movies, but they didn't really inspire me to do much.

The first movie was "Boy's don't cry", its a great movie, but I hate the ending...

Than it is " Spider Lilies", another gay movie that talks about Chinese Lesbian. That movie makes me feel that being gay as an Asian can be accepted too.

But what really makes me feel that I wanted to lead a gay life and be proud of who I am is "The L word". I love Shane.. she is so cool.

Hedwig and the angry inch made me start writing again, no matter if I never get publish or if I suck, it is just therapeutic. I also run to buy the soundtrack right after the movie, lol

Yes, Brokeback Mountain made me realize that I miss the gay friends I had in San Francisco, where I was a rather notorious "f@g hag" years ago. I need to find the gays in St. Louis that I can hang out with.
