It depends on how developed you are. Some women have such small breasts they can get by without a bra at all their entire lives. Most are "medium" sized and can get by with a bra that is fairly supportive without being actual scaffolding under your shirt. Some have rather large breasts that do need quite a lot of support. Talk to your mom or another trusted adult female about what kind of bra would be best for the body type you have right now, and/or go get a fitting done in the lingerie department at a clothing store (I went to JCPenney's department store for my first fitting when I was 15 - I was flat-chested until then and didn't need a bra, even though I wore a "training bra" so as not to feel left out from my friends.)

Well that depends on how big you are.

If you've got a smaller bust (A to small-C cup), there's no danger to not wearing a bra. From the sound of your question, it seems you're comparing a "real" bra to a training bra. If you are at least an A cup, you'll want to wear a regular one.

If you're bigger (D or bigger), you can do damage to your back and shoulders if the additional weight isn't well distributed.

It's not dangerous. If you don't have enough to fill a regular bra, you don't need one, just keep wearing the training bra, or, like my daughter preferred, a sports bra, she liked those because they were more comfortable. One way I've heard to be able to tell if you need to wear a bra is this: Put a pencil under your breasts. If there is enough there to keep the pencil there, you need a bra. If it falls, you don't need a regular bra. If your nipples stick out, you do need to wear something regardless of your breast size, so if your breasts are small, wear a training or sports bra.

It depends on what you mean "real bra"

But if you don't wear a bra at all, you're boobs may start to sag or something along those lines. They won't be getting any support

Hope it helps!

I suggest a "real bra" even if you have small breasts it gives more support and nothing sticks out through your shirt... You can get comfy "real bras" at basically any store Victoria's Secret cotton collection or their pink collection has comfy bras.

it depends on your size. as your breast get larger you will need to wear bras that offer better support. at 13 i was a C cup (large boobs run in my family). you should be measured at least once per year to be sure that you are wearing the right size...this can be done at victoria's secret or other department stores...and the measurements are taken with your clothes on.

The "girls" need support. If you don't want them to hit your knees you need to wear a "real" bra. The girls will thank you (and so will your husband)!

Well, you don't want your boobs to hang to the floor...
Wear a bra. I'm sure you can find one without that pesky under wire. If you can't. Remove the under wire.
